Issue with FPS

Post by nibbs »

Hey yall, just finished up a new pc about a week ago. Had to send the gpu back to get a new one (was basically DOA). Anyways Even with the onboard intel gpu im still getting 70-120 fps in tf2 (all settings max), 100 constant all max settins in cs 1.6, and 60-120 fps in CS:S. But in DoD my FPS will fluctuate between 100-70 but often drop as low as 20-30 when particlefx is on. With it off it doesn't drop as bad but does drop. I feel like DoD should be running @ 100fps max based on preformance so feel like something fishy is going on. Anyone have any ideas?
