it get's to the point where, we have to ask ourselves as a community, whether or not we want them to be part of the community at all. seems like they cause nothing but trouble. constant bans, talking shit, acting like they're "too cool" etc. kinda lame, kinda tired of it. though i usually get some laughs from their idiocy :D

The same thing has gone on forever though Jordan. It is something that will always exist in the community regardless of its size. I personally just enjoy playing, so I never really cared if someone rang in a match. Although I spent my fair share of time playing DoD, I have never understood how people are that concerned to go out of their way and try to get someone banned like defiance is. Anyways, Milo has a one month ban, he doesn't seem that worried about it and says it was justified. I think this kind of backfired.

Lol you need to calm down. People are blowing this out of proportion. A lot of you are taking this like some kind of personal insult. I had somewhere to go so I got milo to ring for me. Yeah I knowingly broke a rule and am serving out my time. It's funny that you want to kick people out of the community lerf. Are you mad that the people on drugs are better than you? Or is it because they called you out on your map making skills? seriously how does one act like they are too cool? You have some issues to work out buddy.

In lerf's defense, I think he's referring to the fact that, since the flawless kids do care so little for the community, the punishments meted out on them for their various infractions don't have the ability to deter future misbehavior. They'll just keep on breaking the rules and ruining the game for everyone else since the punishments have no effect on them. The irony of course is why kids that don't care try so, so desperately to get back in the league for years on end. My guess is that at this point, the majority of them can't fit through the thresholds of their front doors, so they're very literally stuck in a situation where all they can do is try to re-establish some sort of connection with the outside world, however tenuous.

RWC's decision to lift the ban on the flawless kids was really, really stupid. From what I gather Narc is pretty much running the league now, which will hopefully prevent such inexcusable lapses of judgment in the future. But they're here to stay for the time being, so whatever.

moosh wrote:1080p isn't one for not letting the other team field six. I'm sure if you would have just been up front and honest about it none of this would have happened.

But instead you have to be deceitful and have a cool plan for cool kids and giggle to each other about it all the while not caring about the game and watching football instead of playing but complaining for 4 days that the best team doesn't get to play the worst map made by a bad map maker but you secretly like it but don't want to tell anyone cause that might jot look cool.

I think my punctuation buttons are broken.
I was in vent when Defiance was talking about reporting Milo/Stile, and this is exactly what would have happened.
