Re: DoD LAN (Part 2)
Yeah I'd like to see this happen as well. The only dod lan I managed to get play in was WSVG, which was only because I was living very close to the venue at the time.
I'll contribute what I can, but realistically that might not be much. However, I'd be happy to pack a few of you california nerds into my car and drive you out there. Also depending on what needs to be done to help run the competition, I'd be willing to help. I'm likely so washed up that no one will want me on their team [=

Don't quote me, but I do believe that was the last gotfrag dod news story to ever get posted.lowcarb wrote:hahahah swiss, good find
Re: DoD LAN (Part 2)
sears, you considered having it be during the upcoming summer? easier traveling conditions and not as far away, might give us a better chance to keep the full head of steam going rather then have it possibly die down throughout the course of a year

I'de consider hosting this whenever it is that we were ready. If we were going to have it this upcoming summer, we would need to secure a venue by the end of the year. Unfortunately, we aren't even close to that stage just yet.ryanemo wrote:sears, you considered having it be during the upcoming summer? easier traveling conditions and not as far away, might give us a better chance to keep the full head of steam going rather then have it possibly die down throughout the course of a year
I'll continue working on this, and if it works out it works out.
