Potential Lan Ideas
Re: Potential Lan Ideas
what is a professional adult? why have you always enjoyed portraying yourself as dumb over the internet? how did you gather that kirk was 'complaining' if you didn't read his posts? we're still wondering how creating argument makes one a hipster.

Reading = mainstream.
Polak did not read.
Polak is a hipster.
Don't argue with me, folks, I took a class on formal logic freshman year of college.

Snapshot taken. I always knew you was a hipster, Alex. And no matter what excuses you may say, I'd probably take out of context your first sentence and use against you! I suppose you are terrified. If not, you ought to be! mwahahaalex kirk wrote:I'm inconsiderate, immature, and a hipster. All because I said I would feel awkward tagging up [ox] in a DoD match. Not that I bashed on the idea of OTHER people doing it, or bashed the man himself, or the fact that we're already donating to a fund in his name. No. Me saying that I would feel weird putting up the front that I knew ox by tagging up his name, something that is probably more reserved for people who actually knew him, makes me an inconsiderate hipster.rehpyc wrote:So because someone didn't know a guy, and he doesn't see why he personally would have the need to tag the guy in remembrance, he's a hipster? lol..
Tenks said it best: nothing changes in posting on DoD forums. Unfortunately for him, that statement applies to him and not me.

Re: Potential Lan Ideas
hipsters actually dont need to argue for the most part, they enjoy their place outside of society and therefore have little to argue about unless it is about the environment, organic food, obscure novels/books/artists/bands, or philosophy (you have to agree with me on the last one, alex)polak wrote:hipster move: who tries to make an argument about people that have passed away. Some of the players that passed I personally didn't know. However, I won't go out of my way to say that I don't know them and then argue about why I shouldn't remember them on other peoples terms.
this is much more fitting. but in this context, "jackass" may be a better choice in words. JK I <3 you kirkalex kirk wrote:I'm inconsiderate, immature, and a hipster.

Re: Potential Lan Ideas
Most hipsters don't know shit about philosophy, which is why they love Nietzsche. I think their aim is more to know as little about everything possible as to appear to be cultured rather than actually trying to learn it. "Superficial learning," if you will.
