It's graphs like that that really put the absurdity of it all into context.

Iran's navy in a menace....yet the U.s navy has more tonnage than the next 13 nations combined---many of those are allies with just about 0% chance of conflict. A naval/airwar in the straight of Hormez would be a blood bath. Iran is no more of a "threat" militarily than Iraq was, but of course, both are/were huge economic threats.

Iran can't build nuclear weapons, but the United States has built 67,500 since 1945.
