What's up with the bright sky?
"Donner" is german for thunder, which is a reference to dod_thunder, the map to which it was based on. I always liked how the weather on donner was different from all the other maps.

I'm pretty sure it can still have the thunderstorm theme without it being dark as shit and hard to see idiots proned in foliage. I liked thunder in 3.1, but every map was dark in 3.1. It's just unnecessary in "modern" DoD.
