I’d like to take this opportunity to formally announce the start of a new TPG DoDS 6v6 League. Our community’s history with this league dates back to 2006. It was considered the secondary league to CAL then and it is a wonder why we as a community did not switch to TPG with the fall of CAL. We look forward to the following seasons and competitions! The initial plan for this league was to play on Sunday, but with the competition between both TPG 1.3 and the new DCLeague we are considering moving our match night to Tuesday or Thursday. The start date for this league will be in the beginning of May depending on which day matches will be held on. We will be hosting an official TPG Sunday cup on April 15th, 2012 prior to the start of the league. It will be a single elimination with 8 or 16 teams. Teams will be required to sign up at http://www.tpgleague.org, which can be done now. Shortly, there will be a DoDs Sunday Cup section for teams to sign up for. More information will be posted soon.
We are still looking to fill (2) Anti-Cheat positions. For those of you who have already applied, thank you for the application and we are still looking it over and waiting for more applications before we make a decision. We are also looking for (2) Writers and (1) Game Staff. Some quick league notes and summary:
• Player statistics and team power rankings will be kept.
• We will have a separate anti-cheat staff, but will share AC information with other leagues and we will import all current cheating bans.
• The league format will be (1) map x (20) minute halves.
