It's an MMO. It will be catered to casual players, as that is where the money is at in regards to them. DayZ is hardcore to the max and the lack of hand-holding turns away most of those types of players. Looks like they took DayZ and changed some aspects. Been in the works for a year I believe. Should be kinda fun due to the fact that you can group easily with friends, and its free to play after the initial purchase.
Also, check out the track record of the company behind WarZ. Not exactly breathtaking.
