Back to my first post on this thread:moosh wrote:I remember having one thought during her video. Why the **** did she still have Facebook access. Both her parents and her fault.
" The bullies were absolutly wrong in what they did but she couldn't fight her internet addiction and that was ultimately her ending."
Of course if you take one sentence out and call me an idiot, I understand motive. What I said has seem to come full circle. Who would be the person in a child's life to stop it?!?!?! The parents took the child to a new school but the internet is global.

I suppose I insinuated that, didn't I? I wasn't trying to hang the whole thing on her parents. There's a long list of people involved with it who can shoulder blame: her (for making poor choices), parents, friends, internet creepzorz, shitheads at school, facebook keyboard warriors, etc. No one person is to blame entirely. Could this have been prevented by her parents being more involved and aware of what their daughter was doing? Maybe it would have been less severe, or maybe it would have just been the same. Nobody can ever know. You can bet the farm that I'm going to make every effort to know what my kids are up to, though, and try as hard as I can to instill in them some kind of moral compass. I just hope they follow it most of the time. This shit scares me to death.SKiNnTo wrote:So are you saying the parent/parents are at fault?

moosh wrote:That makes no sense. You are oblivious. People only pay attention to kids when they're **** up and embarrassing parents. Then its instantly "what a terrible parent its so easy because I was a kid once". Yup, logical.unpro wrote:Seems people who have a kid think the rest of society is oblivious to what kids do and how they behave. Oddly enough most of us remember being kids, had younger siblings, or have friends/family that have children. Just because we didnt make a little ****, doesnt mean we dont know how the shit works.
wut.
have you actually thought about what you typed? like actually read it. im pretty sure you didnt. im pretty sure you just tried to justify that shit with the logic of a 4 year old.

this is where you stop.moosh wrote:No, but the manner in which you did only applied to the logical posts in this thread. Which all belong to you. Alex is an internet bully.

No, bottom line is having a kid doesnt make you lord of knowledge regarding children. What research in regards to my statement do i need to provide? Human civilization and raising children since its inception? Genetic traits that lead to ingrained knowledge without ever being taught? Perhaps personal experience with kids? Or do you want some book or study a person did based on one theory or another on how best to raise children?
You come out with a statement that says those of us without children are not fit to judge parenting, and i have to justify saying that shits dumb? Ill give you a good example. My mother had 3 boys. She helped raise 2 girls. According to your **** up logic, she doesnt know how to raise a girl because she didnt have one. Wasnt a child once, and doesnt understand what a young girl goes through. Her experiences in life have no value because the sex of the child has differed from the previous 3
Edit: phone **** formating on page load and made me read something really wrong.
