Do you remember there was so much disdain for Source when it first came out that Got Frag banned phrases such as "source sucks" and "source is bad"?

According to them they "fixed it". They viewed high skilled people raping everyone in public servers as a bad thing. They said it caused the average player to not want to play the game any more. By making skill less useful in Source it made it harder to dominate players in public servers therefore giving the average user a better experience. At least so they thought. I think DOD 1.3 was more successful than Source and I believe even still has more people playing it.nunz wrote:lol I swear i dont know how they **** up the game so much...

yep they catered to the "casual gamer" and totally **** it up.
at least it looked fairly nice...
