I bet when she said "many years to come" she never thought it would still be going today. The future of DoD 1.3
As most of you know, CAL has decided to drop Day of Defeat 1.3 at the
completion of Season 15 and will no longer offer this game to its participants.
Some of you are wondering what effects this may have on TPG League, and
its DoD 1.3 divisions (3v3 & 6v6). The TPG Staff would like to assure you all
we have no plans to follow in CAL's decision to drop DoD 1.3. Although we
understand their reasonings behind their decision, we at TPG feel we have
enough support from this great community to continue to offer this game.
TPG will be assessing the needs of the community, and will be making
any announcements needed within the next few weeks. Please feel free
to contact a TPG admin if you wish to express your opinions or concerns, or
to give any suggestions and ideas you may have concerning the future of
DoD 1.3. TPG hopes to continue to provide the community with a competitive
gaming environment for many years to come.
