Gotfrag demos gone now?

I tried going to gotfrag today to look for some old hltv's .. seems to be gone now.

Should we start uploading demos again? I know I've learned a lot from them over the years probably help some of the open/IM teams out.. and of course myself as I am terrible.

I believe the rep-in-chief supreme oversears have already stored them somewhere... they're not lost!

I went to find my harrington demo against cheater ass eximius on the internet. They're lost forever! Can we get an easy 1911 demo upload system going? That would be super cool

I have pandemic vs. x6 on a hard-drive. I'll get it uploaded in the next few days.

That's what this forum is for, just rar your demos and attach them to your posts...

That's what this forum is for, just rar your demos and attach them to your posts...

I meant something more along the lines of having a demos section w/ an upload process like GF had, where you can write a little description and tell everyone how badass you are, with hosting of the demos on the website itself

I get what you were saying, but coding such a feature is a **** ton of work and I'd rather spend my time working on Vegas LAN and stuff.

That being said, if people could figure out how to use this forum they could get the EXACT SAME functionality that you are looking for. Just rar/zip your demos, and then create a thread in this forum and attach those demos to the post (upload attachment tab just below the post box). The demos are then hosted on 1911 right on the thread. Then you have a thread that just for your special demos, you can even create a poll, whatever, go nuts.
