I actually wonder if that's true.
Of the 18 players on the roster 6 are euro's. Of those six, three are fake accounts or inactive players (including me, somehow I was added to the roster again). Of the 3 left linus keeps getting banned for using inappropriate names. So that leaves 2 euro's. evans and cage to fill up the 4 required euro spots. I can't imagine how NZ can play any games without the opponents allowing more americans to play.
To calli. I actually believe the majority of people does want that rule gone and I always thought you changed the rule from 2 to 3 non-euro's? I just didn't speak out last time because it was clear nhoj just created that thread (to get rid of the rule) for his own (mix) team, not for the entire community. Or maybe he didn't, I just wasn''t convinced.
To NZ I apoligise for leaving but no one played any game through pre-season and I was never contacted about any games this season. Before I left the team I looked at the roster and I figured they would never play any game. Even with the 3 rule in place (that apears to be a 2 player rule now). So I guessed it wouldn't hurt to leave in silence. Also it was hard not to leave in silence because I didn't see anyone online for weeks apart from cass who was also inactive. I think it's best if calli adjusts the rule so we can all have this NZ vs "insert good euro team" clash on full strength. Surely this is what everybody wants to see.

Allowing Brazilians would definitely be a bad idea. I don't think anyone is advocating the allowance of South American players..calli wrote:

The rule hasn't changed. 2 NA's top playing each game. Merc's are allowed if the opponent is fine with it, but you still need to be within the 2/4 player rule.
If any clans want to play other international clans I'm sure defiance welcomes you to play outside TPG Euro aswell.
Whenever I find the time I'll go around asking people what they think about the rule, and if I see there's a big margin of players wanting more americans, I'll change it of course.
I could have sworn the rule was changed to 3 EU players and 3 US players but I guess i was mistaken.
Most US players interested in EU TPG are EAST. I ping very well to EU servers sometimes in the 80-90 range and rarely ever over 120+.
And finally, I never made the NZ team Cass made it. Then quit dod / came back / quit / came back again.. He made the team added players for it then made me leader. I don't know many euros and the ones I have rarely show ( hi cage. ) So its truly a pain in the ass for me to run it but i find it fun to play EU's so I put up with it. I didn't realize rezi was turning it into a d*ck measuring contest.

the euro players that matter no exactly where our NA team stands skill wise in europe you're just an immature little dork according to all my boys in the euro dod scene (who I'll allow to remain nameless since I don't wanna bring them into a flame war when they were just telling me their honest opinions of you)
after having played a couple matches with you where I had 150+ ping and seeing you against these "euro invite teams" making them look awful while you ran around aimlessly and they missed you over and over again, i can say with a very high level of certainty that if YOU are euro invite, then anyone on our tpg invite roster is EURO INVITE level too. and that isn't even taking into consideration your horrendous sportsmanship and 12 year old maturity level in ventrilo while playing. you annoy even the people who are considered your "e-friends" like the aforementioned anonymous players hahahaha that post by you was one of the funnier things I've ever seen on this website. you're the only european left anymore with that delusional ego about where the skill level stands while all the european players that matter like paul wallu jaunty ptk etc all understand that the best of NA and the best of Europe are all completely on par with one another and can easily trade off wins depending on maps, lineups, who's having a good or bad day, etc. (as jared mentioned, we played vs renamed in a euro night cup about a month ago, won axis half of rr2 by 100 then i went afk for the entire allied half and came back to find out we had won that half by 75 while playing with 5 players) god i can't wait to play whatever team you're on.
