Season 31 Playoff Preview - Open

Post by nhoj »

Spoiler alert : No south american teams in this playoff preview

Toogle On - Toogle On

John : Now that the season is soon over, what are your overall opinions on how your team preformed so far?

ducks : I feel like we started out pretty good but haven't had our true starting 6 in a couple of weeks. With that being said, I feel pretty satisfied with the way the team is considering it mostly consists of players new to each other. We look forward to the playoffs!

John : What's your starting lineup?

ducks : Rifle – Joey
Rifle – Ana
Heavy – d u c k s
Heavy – dat Nash
Sniper – Madcat
3rd/Light – Lightwork

John : What was your most difficult match of this season?

ducks : Most difficult match of the season would have to be week 2 vs. KliQ.

John : What team(s) surprised you this season?

ducks : Merrill's Marauders because we didn't know what to expect from them and who was going to show up.

John : How do you see your chances in the playoffs?

ducks : We feel like we can go pretty far in the playoffs, good luck to everyone!

John : Any comments or shout-outs?

ducks : Shout out to the 1911 forums for being a great source of support to our team throughout the season, love you all!

Merrill's Marauders - 475th

John : Now that the season is soon over, what are your overall opinions on how your team preformed so far?
L0i^c : we could have done better probably, but with most of team just being around on Sundays it was OK i think.

John : What's your starting lineup?

L0i^c : every week a different, depends on who shows up, i think we haven't played with the same lineup twice this season. I think we even changed the lineup while match once or twice.

John : What was your most difficult match of this season?

L0i^c : vVv in the beginning of the season while we were still in IM, the were better at everything, lineup, teamwork, positional playing. In open it was against GSR on solitude shouldn't have allowed them the first best ringer i didn't knew, apparently that guy was pretty decent, but whatever it still was fun.

John : What team(s) surprised you this season?

L0i^c : kliQ, didn't know any of those guys and haven't seen any of em i think.

John : How do you see your chances in the playoffs?

L0i^c : seems like we are getting rated #1 in open due to the ff of toggle for playoff scheduling, if i understand those ff rule right, so i cant say it looks bad. But as i know us we may **** up in any of the playoff matches preferably in half finals even though some people might say we are the strongest team in open (?), well we know for sure in some weeks.

GameSpy Rangers - GSR

John : Now that the season is soon over, what are your overall opinions on how your team preformed so far?
red dogg : To this point I think we have played pretty well and have been in quite a few good matches this season

John : What's your starting lineup?

red dogg : Our Ideal starting linup would be Rifles - Naz, Dullimus, and Skinto Heavies - Bloody Sacrifice and Patton Sniper Me, but Naz and Dullimus are going to be gone the sunday of the 1st round and bloody has sort of went awol so if we don't get the matched rescheduled things don't look good for us.

John : What was your most difficult match of this season?

red dogg : I would say the 1st match against toggle on, because we had just come off of a nice run in the playoffs the season before but had alot of line up changes and it threw every1 off and our chemistry was terrible, hopefully we will be able to play them again in the playoffs with our best against their best, which would be an awesome matchup

John : What team(s) surprised you this season?

red dogg : Based on our match with them i'm suprised that [Z]ik4RiO[Z] is only 5-4, they didn't out skill us in our match, but they had nice team work and kept us from capping out when we had them pinned back and made the most of their opportunities when they had the edge

John : How do you see your chances in the playoffs?

red dogg : If we can get through the 1st round and get best 6 playing I think we have a solid shot as does 3-4 other teams. I would say our division is more wide open than any other

John : Any comments or shout-outs?

red dogg : glhf

prone 2 own! - p2o!

John : Now that the season is soon over, what are your overall opinions on how your team preformed so far?

Katsato : We had a couple high's and low's during the season. Our team work wasn't on any consistent level from week to week. We let a couple wins slip through our grasps cause we fall apart during matches, that and my team TK's like it's a hidden objective in every match. Hopper either has a miracle nade or he kills half his team. For us telling the rest of your team your location is just asking to have a nade thrown at you. I'm so bad with nades I've been restricted to sniper only during matchs.

John : What's your starting lineup?

Katsato : Heavies - Evilyn/Pvt.Seymour Rifles - Quikey/Mofo/Hopper Sniper - Katsato

John : What was your most difficult match of this season?

Katsato : Looking at our record, All of them. Except the matches against HK <3.

John : What team(s) surprised you this season?

Katsato : None really, all the teams did about how I expected them to do.

John : How do you see your chances in the playoffs?

Katsato : Didn't know we had a chance.

John : Any comments or shout-outs?

Katsato : Thanks to all the people that help us out every season with tips and going over maps.

Didn't get a representative from any south american team in open. HK I didn't get your answers, if you're finished with them, send them so I can edit this post.
