Gains brah
And if you're lucky, four pounds of that was muscle! Keep it up, breh.
increase your water intake to a gallon/gallon 1/2 a day instead of your 1-2 glasses and watch how you lose 10 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks

Had a really hard deadlift session after not deadlifting for almost a month. Back felt loose and I was tired from work. I reset my max so I can get back into my groove.

Going to squat today. Trying to squat twice a week. I'm at a point where I'm wondering if I should solely concentrate on sport specific S&C instead of barbell lifts. Price is the main concern.

Unless your competing in a bodybuilding competition or powerlifting or just love to lift strictly weights.....you need to alter your routines and what workouts and types of workouts constantly. I go into the gym with a goal in my head snd thats to bust my ass snd improve so depending on my mindset and how i feel that week im very spontaneous during my routines and week to week has different routines but they all benefit me all aroubd this way and ive discovered it is a great thing to do for my body type and my genetics. Dont focus on maxing out. focus on improving everything evenly the best you can....strength endurance stamina cardio form and one quality i teach people to pay attention to starting their first week is. Be symetrical ! Check at the end of a week or two and focus on anythings thats lacking.

I understand what you're saying. I've read that when people reach a certain point of strength, it's beneficial for them to start concentrating on sport specific exercises. For grappling that means grip strength, neck strength, and hip explosiveness.

When I say I "reset my max" I meant that I lowered the percentage of the weight that I am lifting.

For example my 1RM is 300, but I only lift up to 90% of 300.

You're having trouble hitting a 225 HB squat? Do you usually low bar? I feel like you're joking.
