In that case, I'd say using a client that flips off everyone using a Mac should not be used. Kind of makes the game less accessible.Jakimo wrote:i clicked twice and it worked. and im probably higher than most.kevo wrote:does that matter? if you're going to REQUIRE a client to be used in conjunction with a game that can be played on multiple operating systems, it seems necessary to have it compatible with them all.
it's not fair to exclude certain parties just because they happen to be using a less popular platform. the only reason I came back to DoD, which I've played since 2004, is because I realized steam is now supported on Mac (which I'm stuck with because I don't have room in my apartment for my desktop).
It's half-assed because I've seen MULTIPLE people bitch and complain about the poor quality of the client, and now that I have seen it's not even compatible across platforms, shows me that it's a burden that was not properly built to complement the game.
its a dead game we all take for granted. we must do our part in not letting her die. get over it. thanks
I've seen lots of clients come and go, and they've been mostly useless. No use cutting out any portion of the community so we can watch this thing catch one or two really stupid people.
