Just started playind DoD, looking for a team

Hey, whats everyone?

I just stated playing DoD 1.3 again, haven't played it since about 2005. I was wondering if there are any teams out there that are willing to train in a new guy to the competitive side of DoD. I have experience playing other games competitively. Played many seasons of CS 1.6 and source through CAL, CEVO, and ESEA, and I also competed in vCoD and CoD2 back in the day. Like I said, I'm new to this community, and new to this game in general. So any tips on becoming a better player would also be appreciated as well.

The best advice I can give you to be successful in this game is to have some quality (preferably original or little used) .gifs at your disposal. Use them often, with little to no regard to the thread topic, and with no remorse. Good luck, soldat.
