Anti-Cheat for Servers

Hey guys,

switch- from australia here.

As some of you know we are about to relaunch DoD in aus.. we have 8 teams registered for a round robin style comp starting next week. We also managed to get a game server company to sponsor us 2 servers(awesome!)

My question is for anybody who deals with servers.

We have been out of the loop for 5 years+ and wondering what you guys recommend for anti cheat. Things like aimbot and wallhacks we are to worried about as everyone will POV demo and have to submit if asked.. Its the Fluro models and the like that we are suspect may happen..

Any advice would be great.

rent eac servers, maybe. I have not read to much about it, but it is expensive :X

There are server side plugins you can work with that can enforce cvars, models, sprites, etc. These types of plugins do not have a way to track configs and/or detect wallhacks, however. I was working with one for awhile, but I ran into the problem that I could only get it to work for Windows servers and people here have Linux servers as well, so it wouldn't be able to be used unless its compatible for all servers.

It's almost impossible to cheat on eac3 now, it's what playnation (basically swedish esea) use for their servers. It's simple, doesn't lag anyones game and you can trust them.
I suggest using this for tpg if possible.
