Thanks.
I had a few RBs lined up, but kept losing out on them by a couple picks. (I had no idea bradshaw was recovering from surgery, or I would have probably looked elsewhere)

He's played for months on a fractured foot before, so the injury may mean nothing for him. Otherwise, agreed on scouting the waiver wire.

Anyone who drafted David Wilson before tonight seemingly got a huuuuuuuge boost in value.

Calling it now, Giovanni Bernard is going to be a stud if the use him in the slot or for the option. He could be a PPR monster as early as next season.

Or so the internet tells me.

First season playing fantasy, so I'm a little iffy on this draft. Yahoo says I deserve a C, we'll see.

1. (13) Alfred Morris (Was - RB)
2. (16) A.J. Green (Cin - WR)
3. (41) Reggie Wayne (Ind - WR)
4. (44) Vernon Davis (SF - TE)
5. (69) Anquan Boldin (SF - WR)
6. (72) San Francisco (SF - DEF)
7. (97) Chris Ivory (NYJ - RB)
8. (100) Sidney Rice (Sea - WR)
9. (125) Joe Flacco (Bal - QB)
10. (128) Sam Bradford (StL - QB)
11. (153) Josh Brown (NYG - K)
12. (156) Jacoby Jones (Bal - WR)
13. (181) Roy Helu (Was - RB)
14. (184) Robert Turbin (Sea - RB)
15. (209) Kenny Stills (NO - WR)
16. (212) Santonio Holmes (NYJ - WR)

I wasn't real thrilled about my draft position, and having to go with Alfred Morris at RB is less than ideal to say the least. This league is a bit weird in that it is QB-WR-WR-WR-RB-RB-TE-FLEX. I'm also a niners fan, so theres that bias.

I really think Bradford is a sleeper, and possibly starter worthy for weeks he isn't facing niners/seattle defense. I also think Vernon Davis might be worthy with Crabtree gone for so long, I could see him touching the ball a lot more.

Overall, I think this is a pretty average team and I'm going to get ran. Fortunately we are betting green plants, not dollars.

well, i definitely think you have some studs there. AJ Green is going to be the #2 or #3 fantasy WR this year. i also feel like there were some reaches there (reggie wayne 3rd round, boldin 5th round) but its hard to say because it is a 14 team draft and i don't know who was available during those picks. but i can say without a doubt that 6th round defense is absurd and way way way too early. but hey, you mentioned you were a 9rs fan and the 9rs D was going to go top 2 or 3, so go get them if you would like to root for them. sometimes fantasy is about picking players you like so you can root for them. there are certain guys i wont even draft no matter what cuz i just dont want to root for a guy i don't like to do well simply for my fantasy numbers.

and although i do like chris ivory a lot, waiting until round 7 to draft your second RB is going to hurt you a lot. keep an eye for waiver fliers and maybe snag a handcuff or 2 if they are still on the waiver wire so you can possibly get lucky with an injury.

fasho, seven aka john clatyon of 1911.

Who are some RB's to peep on the wire though? In my league with so many picks, RB was just completely decimated by the time I could pick Morris.

ahahah first off thank you. i am just a nerd that is obsessed with football/basketball. but as far as waiver guys... even though there are a lot of 3-7th rnd picks in between morris and waiver... i like michael tolbert for the first 6-8 weeks. with stewart on the PUP list, i think he will see a lot of goal line caries and snaps in general. he should be undrafted in all or most leagues. i also like woodhead in ppr leagues. he usually gets drafted though due to him being ranked around the 10th-13th round.. any other guys are just late round picks. there isnt going to be anything valuable on the waiver until a few weeks go by.. or even 6-8 weeks.. we have to see who emerges, and who gets injured. but i keep drafting really talented guys that have starting talent but are stuck behind other starters such as kendell hunter, bryce brown, bernard pierce, but these guys are all drafted so chances are you wont find them on the waiver after your draft unless you are in a 10 team league and get really lucky. i'll keep posting on here throughout the season as injuries and break out games happen to help everyone out.

Just did my $50 buy in league, which was a keeper league that had an owner abandon a team. So I got a shot at some good pickups:

(3)- Adrian Peterson- RB
(22)- David Wilson- RB
(27)- Brandon Marshall- WR
(46)- Maques Colston- WR
(51)- Matthew Stafford- QB
(70)- Ryan Matthews- RB
(75)- Greg Olsen- TE
(94)- Cincinnati Defense--> Purely a fan move, but it will most likely work out fine.
(99)- Steve Johnson- WR
(118)- Some linebacker, shitty league rules- autopicked while I was on the phone
(123)- Justin Tucker- K
(142) Tyler Eifert- TE
(147)- Pierre Thomas- RB
(166)- Alex Smith- QB
(171)- Jacquizz Rodgers- RB
(190)- Malcom Floyd- WR

Things went pretty well, but getting stuck with autopick due to a very poorly timed phone call kinda effed me towards the end.

The RG3 trade piece could help you find another solid RB a few weeks in, too. As long as they are healthy (and are getting the majority of the workload for their teams), I like both Bradshaw and Mendenhall as situational starts depending on their matchups. Solid squad, brah.
