the distribution of skill was more competitive and imo more evenly divided with 4 divisions. seemed as though you had enough teams. open and main aren't going to be much fun for a lot of teams if it stays 3 divisions...

Posted on the TPG site but will post here as well.

Cut the divisions. There's 26 teams. Do a few seeded or random draws at the start of the season and then schedule the rest of the season by rpi. That way there's no artificial boundary between divisions that keeps a top main team from playing a low invite team or a low main team from playing a top open team during the season.

I'd like to see how this would play out too. Also go ahead and change "Open" to "IM" make some people feel better about themselves :D . plus I can already see the teams that will dominate "open" and a team that I hope to god gets pooped on in main.

This was our last match (without our sniper) vs. dgf in main playoffs.
DGF won 306 - 267 on anzio.

because i dont play at all until playoff then BOOM we pull major upset

but honestly emachine is right... why are we in open? Im pretty sure we can beat half of the team in main right now.

*edit* after looking at the team... maybe not, let us roll through open

Why were we put in open?
1. Your overall W/L for last season was 3/6.
2. You were 8th seed overall in Main.
3. Teams with better records got placed in main.
4. Anzio is DGF's worst map.
