I dont disagree with that at all. They aren't highly skilled but skill doesnt win soccer games.

England's coach, Roy Hodgson, said that he rather preferred his team on a death group than play in Manaus, capital of the Amazon state due to the city weather and distance. Ended up getting both! On a side note, apart of the group stage, Brazil can potentially climb it's way through playoffs against former WC champions.

I really didn't want to make this post but you're wrong, nico. Spain will top their group where else Holland or Chile will finish second. Australia is pretty awful - they only qualified because they play their qualifiers in the Asian region (which is ez mode).

The reason why the group of death is group D is because all three teams (Uruguay, Italy, England) have the potential to beat each other. Not to mention Costa Rica is a decent side and they will pick up points against the top three teams.

I don't see Spain finishing with 9 points milo, it won't be the same Spain that 4 years ago, now almost every team knows how to play against their possesion play... (like it happened with Barcelona without Messi, who was beaten by Bayern Munich in last Champions). Btw, Costa Rica will probably finish with 0 points, i believe Australia has higher chances of getting points in his group. Anyway, it's just two faced opinions and we won't we able to know who is right until July.

I really think there are two groups of death this WC. B and D. idk why americans think there in a group of death, i think there just marketing it that way so more people will watch it.
