Realize not all details have been sorted out/approved by Midway and his crew yet, so while our acceptance into ESL is finalized, the specifics are not.Wint0 wrote:DCN is dead in the water(I assume). What happens to TPG? If TPG stays, ESL would be played Wednesday nights(answered in original post, confirmation)? Plans on "marketing" ESL to teams that do not regularly check 1911 or the TPG/DCN website? Will ESL be opened for registration and have a start date that coincides with TPG(if TPG isn't folded up). Monetary prizes for our league? Divisions? Requirements/How teams will be put in Divisions? SAs, where they will fit in and rules as to how? Roster caps?
I FULLY SUPPORT THIS, I'm sure risK will sign up.
Just asking questions. In before you ride my nuts about how I don't want it to work.
An admin, or kirk, or hellfire responding to these would be ideal.
1) The fate of DCN rests with Narc, and it will be sorted out appropriately. The aim is to have 2 leagues, 1 of which will be ESL. DCN and TPG will be worked out accordingly. No official decisions have been made yet, as the specifics of ESL should be sorted out first.
2) We don't have official plans to seek the smaller clans just yet, but I suggest we put together a statement and explanation and emailing teams registered with TPG regarding the significance of ESL in hopes they join. In my opinion, ESL ought to be priority #1 and resources should be directed towards getting as many teams as possible there.
3) Dates, rosters, etc. have not been fully figured out. We will have more on that within a week, or probably shortly after this weekend, and you'll have more specifics then. Until everything is approved, we can't give anything more.
