already read all 5 :)

I watched the first few episodes, then read the first book between ep 3 and 4, because i was so worried some asshole on the internet would spoil the show for me.

lol, how are the books? It is a really good premise for a show, so I think it is a really good premise for a book as well. I want the show to deal more with those **** elites up north. Hopefully it's not too love story-ish? Oh, and snape kills dumbledore.

The books are good, but there are definitely some parts in each book that you have to kind of power through, because they can get kind of slow. Also, the books are nerve wracking because the author is insane, so you definitely get hooked on reading them. Not going any further than that, enjoy the show.

Just finished up The Strain trilogy last week by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan.

Now I'm bouncing between 3 books: And the Band Played on (About the aids epidemic in the early 80s), Rant by Chuck P., and the first volume of the walking dead (haven't seen the show yet)

Not currently reading any books, but this mag here always has articles on nostalgic drag racing and shit. Specifically Mopars, but yeah, I'm a Mopar fan...

Yeah, just read the books. There is a sequence of about 300 pages that is the most ridiculously intense storytelling that I've ever read. At one point I felt like I had actually been punched in the stomach.
