Yeah the floating hole looks pretty badass.

Dan where do you play areound here? I usually play at Buena, but Saticoy golf course is a cheapie course with surprisingly great greens. Olivas is a bit pricey, and being close to the beach makes the wind a biotch!

I've been playing at buena. I paid 54$ for the monthly unlimited range/cheap rates deal and have been going after work and on the weekends. The twilight riding rate is 12$ but the course is really banged up. I think it's 16$ to play Olivas twilight, so I was going to hit that up sometime soon.

Damn i didn't realize the twilight riding rate was that cheap... I may have to hit that up soon for both courses...

Have you played at Soule Park, or Elkins ranch at all? If not I would suggest those, they are a great break from the flatland courses in Ventura.

The other place I enjoy, although I havent played there since they re did it, was riverridge. Really quite pricey but some fun and challenging holes.

I've played Soule Park and Elkins Ranch a couple times each, but back when I was in high school or before then. If you liked Elkins Ranch, you might visit Mountain View in Santa Paula. That was a decent course as well.

I think the twilight riding rate if you don't have the 54$/month card is like 25$. It's actually a great deal if you play there a lot. The unlimited range use is worth it if you go to the range like 5+ times a month. I'm not sure how much you play though.

Yeah I have heard Mountain View is a good course although I haven't got out there myself.

I wish I could fully utilize the monthly membership, but I know I would just not be able to get out that much with a kid on the way.

I should get out there now before the kid comes though lol.

[strike]i play weekly atleast once. it has a good combinations of[/strike] drinking/[strike]smoking, competitive playing and the[/strike][strike]outdoors and really[/strike] a fun way to spend 5 hours of a day.
I agree that is fun.
