Forgotten Muse does decent work. I personally think that Tykoon Designs (Tony Ocoro) does the best work right now. His stuff is fresh and he works with Todd and the boys over at Raza to see your designs through. Tony's thread over on PbNation - http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3831374

I play for XSV OT / help coach and pit for Sacramento XSV.

That's cool. I was just asking because one of my good friends from age 10-15 or so started up Forgotten Muse with his gf/fiancee/whatever she is. He's always posting a bunch of his stuff on fb, and I was wondering if they were well known in the paintball community.

I know more about Meme then I do about David. She used to be apart of the XSV OT online crew but was removed because...reasons. I'll leave it with that since David is your buddy.

Paintball is pretty big in PA. They do realism events recreating WWII battles, etc. at Skrimish? Or whatever it's called. Very fun sport, and when you do the big fields you end up doing some decent cardio.

Skirmish USA is a huge park, as is EMR Paintball for scenarios they are two of the top 3 in the Nation imo. (The other being CPX outside of Chicago) Not really my style of paintball, however I would love to play at both of them. Some of these scenarios pull a ton of people. Not really sure on the numbers exactly but every video I have ever seen makes it look over 5k players.

Yeah sounds right, they usually do a 3 day weekend thing and have interesting packages for the events. All of it is judged and scored as well that's what's crazy to me. When I went there for a bachelor party we went to various courses. My favorite are the natural terrain, all the houses and wild west ones sucked for me because when you are sneaking around and you are face to face with another person you just start panicking and shooting. There is nothing worse then getting shot multiple times point blank in the hands and in the neck. I've only experienced the inner leg and knuckle and I'm already over it.

Then you would HATE torunament play. I can't even remember the last time I got shot less than 3 times in a game.

Oh I know I would HATE tournament play. I'm all about sneaking around and playing more of a war game aspect. Like the people who play dod with their war helmets on. I'd like to picture various scenario's and play like 10v10 on a very large open coarse with a wooden fort type of thing. Capture the flag is solid where the rounds go on for 30+ mins. I've only gone paintballing twice though so forgive me if I say anything retarded.

I didn't even go through one of my paint cargo by the 5th match we did, people were just spraying and praying.

I still love scenario play as well, it's just not my favorite. I don't like stalking for hours.

The spray and pray comment is so true. The pro team I work with shot something like 112 cases of paint in a tournament this season. That's 224,000 paintballs for one team in a 3 day span. To really break it out, this is the 7 man tournament format where they roster 10 players but only 7 are on the field at a time. I would venture to say we tested at least 4 cases of paint over the chronograph just tuning the markers before each of our matches. We won the tournament and it took 7 matches to get there so just testing we shot 28 cases of paint. Theres some lower divisional teams that don't even use that much paint for a whole tournament on the field.

My local tournament field also has some recreational fields, one of them is a dirt mound with a castle structure built on the top of it. Anyways it has 2 other fields facing it at 90 degree angles, like one is to the west and the other field is to the south. They put all the recreational and rental people on teams and have them attack all the tournament players who are in the castle. A few times enough people have come out to have about 75+ people attaching from each side with about 25 to 30 of us trying to defend the castle. We always get over run late because the attackers also respawn by going back to the start gate. This is the most fun scenario style I have ever played.
Anyways I have seen pictures of EMR where they have a wayyyy bigger castle that even has multiple floors to it for attack and defend games. I bet that is a blast.
