Re: How-To Capture Clips
Thanks for this tutorial. It sure looks like a lot of good information I would have probably never known about.
And just to clarify this technique can be used for HLTV files? Those commands will remove any HLTV junk and make it look 'first person filmed'?
I've never tried or messed around with an HLTV demo just my own personal demos, so I don't really know what they look like. My damn team members lack the skill of getting shit done when it comes to trading demo files.

Yeah, those files will remove the black bars at the top and bottom of an HLTV. if you're using an HLTV demo, open your console and put "ex_interp 0.1" it will make the HLTV play smoother. Also, you can remove all the advertisements in an HLTV by clicking the "Events" button on the viewdemo bar and Click "Remove" then you can hold down enter and it will remove all the event lines for the advertisements. Most of the advertisements are something like "You are watching HLTV."Shotty wrote:Thanks for this tutorial. It sure looks like a lot of good information I would have probably never known about.

Sweet thanks a bunch man, hopefully the idea's I have cooked up in my head will actually translate into a nice movie by the end of the season. I figure I'll make test clips throughout the rest of the season to play around and learn the programs.

This made me chuckle a little bit. Not that it is really any of my business, but I am curious whatever happened to Cass's and Joey's dod movies? I was just wondering as I thought Corey said you had to pay $100 up front or something.acetamino wrote:This is going to put jaggon out of business

Re: How-To Capture Clips
Not sure about whatever happened to the ****'s movie but as far as my movies are concerned Corey managed to deliver two very near to be done previews and gave them to me for evaluation/if i wanted to get something changed. It is like 70% done, with only a few clips, hltvs, transitions missing. No effects or intro as well so. Then he had some personal issues that I won't further explain here but long story short I believe he is on the verge of releasing one of them (it is actually two movies, with different aesthetics and thematics). I'll shoot you a PM with the one I've uploaded on my Youtube channel.ao_ wrote:This made me chuckle a little bit.
