Nope, I was a good pal of some of the players, and played a few different games frequently with ScreaM, snipeZ, and teamownerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I also got invited to start the team with ep0xy when he left StaBr, but stuck with STR instead. You also have to remember that this was before steam/ventrilo, so it was less common for "pug teams" to form.
So "pugs" were just announced in #1911 and the first 12 people who joined the server played. As in, a 12 man.
