Team Points as of 9/24
Re: Team Points as of 9/24
I don't think either of the teams were scared to play gskill, but their attempt to get a couple of players online to have these matches played has been pitiful.
If you can't gather up 5 or 6 players every Sunday night for a 40 minute DoD match then you probably shouldn't be signed up for the league.
If either of the teams who forfeited to us would like to actually attempt to get these matches played, then try contacting us about a match time proposal. Hopefully you guys can get it right this time and ask for a time you can actually gather 5 or 6 players.

The way God intended.
I don't think it has anything to do with being afraid to play a match against Gskill. If that was the case, Thunder would have nothing but FF win's considering they are a better team, but they don't. The reason why: they are willing to work with teams on scheduling and even let them use ringers if needed, Gskill does not.

You are a whiny little girl, always have been. Shit happens, sometimes people don't have 6... it's called reschedule, quit acting like you don't have time when your whole team scrims or is in every 12 man every single day. Instead, you want to cry about ff's in every single thread and how everyone is so afraid to play you. Either way you're a loser and should hang yourself.knockout wrote:We've told both teams that forfeit lost to us to get ringers. They didn't. They signed off on steam friends. I don't know who you are, but you're either a) talking about a situation you know nothing about, or b) just completely lying. Either way you're a loser and should hang yourself.**** wrote:knockout wrote:

There has been multiple times where Gskill hasn't had 6 people at match time over the past few seasons. Quit acting like you guys have never had problems.
Re: Team Points as of 9/24
Whenever nogo is on the verge of taking a ff win. We all start msg'ing anyone on our friends list for the other team. If that doesn't work we just don't report a score and say when you have 6 we will play. There is no shame in not reporting a score, i dont know why gskill would rather report the ff instead of just wait and see what happens...

Muresan said he was gonna try and get 6 with the use of ringers , he apparently disappeared and went offline. From what I also understand, there was no commitment to talk on matchcomm.
The match against n2p has already been discussed in the chemille prediction thread. At no point during the conversation's via matchcom and steam were the ideas of ringers brought up. That is not for us to decide whether you attempt to find people to play your match or not.
Scott brought up the fact if this was 2 months ago or so he wouldn't care but when its football season/breaking bad etc. its annoying to try and schedule a dod match right there and then at 9 oclock when it should of been arranged days ago.
I think i say for all of us on gskill that, its not that you're afraid to lose matches or whatever. its just **** lame, and please just talk on matchcomm - not steam, before Sunday. Chuck brought up how the Euro team Renamed was/is so nice to schedule with because they want to sleep at that time anyway and cant **** around; so they tell you ahead of time what server and time you're playing your match.
The matchcomm tool is easy and has been around just figure out what your teammates are doing and schedule.
Yes so we were going to play you guys gskill, prior to me looking for 3 ringers who wanted to play against you guys which was tough, no one honestly wanted to ring. My pc reset itself trying to fix some errors that I seemed to had caused stopping a backup file to my Program D files. I came back on 10 minutes later an carpenter was no where to be found. He went to ring for another team by that window of me coming back on. At that point it was only me an coon an honestly I found it rather embarrassing an stupid to pick up 4 ringers just to play a match. I always try to play win or lose, I just would like to play. Sorry for the late reply back an the not using match comm but apparently besides the 3
Of us on my team everyone else is ether Mia or shows up 10 minutes prior to match time. Sorry again, wasn't trying to be an ass for what happened but point blank my team just went AWOL. An hopping everyone will he back playing for next week after I just spoke to the bear.

i invite you to look at the mess thunder turned the finals matches into last season and reconsider your statement**** wrote:knockout wrote:The playoff point system is not flawed. (for reference those are the matches that you were sitting around watching because you didn't make it)

Re: Team Points as of 9/24
also i believe milo told me a few days ago that 92dt had mentioned to him that they would probably need ringers, so i was actually more amenable this time to playing/rescheudling/whatever. use whoever to ring, i don't give a shit, i'm better than you. i guess they weren't able to field a couple ringers so they opted to FF to us, and frankly i think that's the right thing to do if you're missing 3 or 4 players. if only me and frank showed up for a match that i thought everyone was able to play i wouldn't expect anyone to cater to us because our of internal dogshit.
re: last week, jeremy pm's me on **** steam within hours of the match to reschedule, and then within half an hour of the match to inform me half his team is MIA for no apparent reason. anyone who thinks a half hour is adequate notice for rescheduling anything without looking like a dick, i would like you try this with job interviews, conference calls, dates (lol), doctor's appointments, or literally anything in the world. so, yeah, go fix that, maybe we can play next time.
i have personally been against this last-minute reschedule bullshit lately because every other team seems to have a chance to be massive sunvirgins when it comes to scheduling, now its my turn. more importantly it's really **** simple to show up for a thing that has been at the same time every week for years. when you have no reasonable excuse for no-showing, you just inconvenienced 11 other people who wasted their time showing up. when three or more people do this from the same team, why should i give a shit?
HOWEVER, if the rest of my team can find it in their hearts to beat you on another day, then i guess we'll play. just try to get 6 the next time so you can lose as originally planned and we can all go watch breaking bad.
now whoever thought i'd be the greatest growing up?

renamed is honestly the best team to schedule with because they recognize that they are in an NA-based league, have extraordinary time restrictions and server preferences due to where their players are located. they have never pm'd me on sunday and said "we can only play at 7:00pm with 3 ringers on our NYC server." they get this shit handled ahead of time without being butthurt 12 year olds about it and we can just show up and play a match. honestly they are probably the only team i don't talk shit to and most of that's because they seem to know how to use a calendar. the bar is actually set that low.greetz wrote:Chuck brought up how the Euro team Renamed was/is so nice to schedule with because they want to sleep at that time anyway and cant **** around; so they tell you ahead of time what server and time you're playing your match.
