Sunday night for you would be more like middle of the night Saturday for us. That time difference is brutal =(switch- wrote:Hey guys,

Fellow AusDoD community members and participants, Monday(TONIGHT) night will see the conclusion of the first season of the AUSDOD 2013 Revival competition. Spanning across seven group stages and one of the most epic Semi-Final series, this Grand Final is sure to be exciting and entertaining, with team Uprising coming up against team CashMoney in a Best-of-Three series on Harrington, Chemille with the possible decider on Anzio.
SHOUTCAST BEGINNING AT 7:15PM MONDAY(TONIGHT) - GAMES BEGIN AT 7:30PM AEDST.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the most practiced team and one of the favourites, Team Uprising(uR) were exceptional from the beginning of the season, winning all but one of their group stages including the win against their Grand Final rival's CashMoney in a back-and-forth match way back in the first round. Uprising were the first to qualify for the final when they defeated team eXtremists in their semi-final revenge re-match, after having their only loss to them earlier in the season.
My predicted line-up for Uprising are as follows:
David "daveofdefeat" Holley___Rifleman
Chris "B4LL" Millington ______ Rifleman
Chris "Sheriff" Green _______ Rifleman/Stoss
James "Dice" Circa (c) ______ Support Infantry
David "Nofsky" BuShmaster___Support Infantry
Matthew "Burton" Burton_____Sniper
An absolutely solid line-up from Uprising, which held out the dark-horse of team eXtremist with an amazing clutch kill onto Aud stopping them from snatching the game. All of these players capable of dictating the result of Monday nights matches. Although, I would regard Dice, with his very aggressive heavy style (46 kills on one Saints half against 5 Rats players) and daveofdefeat's solid rifle-role in each match(Grenade's everywhere) as the players to watch, as well as Burton, with his aggressive, technical style of play.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Perhaps an underdog to make the Grand Final itself, Team CashMoney were set in stone as one of the top four teams, but were often under-estimated in discussion, with the mighty Rats and the once-dark horse eXtremists standing in their way of their chance at reaching the final. As the only team in the top four who did not sit on the three-way-tie, it was even more astounding when they defeated Rats in the semi-final.
My predicted CashMoney line-up is as follows:
Grant "switch-" Stanley (c)____Rifleman
Nathan "Nath+" Cooke _______Rifleman
Paul "Harmz" Harmsworth ____Rifleman/Stoss
Louis "UnReal" Callaway______Support Infantry
Andrew "Muzz" Murrin _______Support Infantry
Todd "iNs" Stewart__________Sniper
A comparatively solid line-up from team CashMoney, which showed excellent synergy their semi-final win against Rats; an exceptional contrast to what seemed somewhat of an un-unified team in the earlier stages of the season. Similar to Uprising, all of these players from CashMoney are capable of threatening Uprising's GF title hopes (honourable mention to Switch and his 4 down cap-out in the semi), however there are two players in my opinion who stand out.
Nath showed himself as an absolutely stunning rifleman in the semi-final against Rats, and as quoted by the captain of Uprising(Dice) himself, is a player who "single handedly has the ability to break a game wide open." The second player is Muzz, who when is on will float around the map and cause all sorts of problems for Uprising.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally the maps, and to keep it short - Harrington will be the most appropriate map for aggressive play, and should hold exciting fights between the long rifleman teams and heavy teams at mound, and snipers through middle. Chemille will provide a vastly different style of play, much more slower and concise, offering perhaps a more strategical degree of play, only increasing in speed as teams move onto the last flag. If Anzio is reached as a decider, and its anything like the semi-finals, we could just have one of the greatest Grand Finals ever, with the possibility of both teams fighting out the final on one of AusDoD's favourite maps.
Tune into the beginning of the shout cast at 7:15PM AEDST for pre-game interviews and analysis. This will be an exciting series!
