Excuse me? I'M the one who gets loaded and comes up with insane ideas to save this game.
"There are HUGE improvements and bug fixes for the client. I know it is tedious to constantly update the client every week... but I think this will be the last update until the end of the season."
Sounds like fun. How could anyone not wanna play
*Rest easy nerds, I would never alias as another person to try and get my point across. LMAO'ing at whoever this nerd is, who basically made the exact same post, with the exact same format as me, a few weeks after mine. Trust me when I say there is nothing in life that I do that any of you should ever want to emulate

Well I'll place my personal opinion as to why I haven't been playing...
1. I'm getting sick of playing the same maps I've played for a decade.
2. I don't like playing dod on Sunday nights
3. It's summer, and I'd rather be doing other things on my days off.
Maybe dod doesn't have it in it to be a year round game anymore. Personally I'm usually quite inactive in the summer, then by fall I'm interested again. TPG September - May perhaps? Small tournaments in the summer?

The competitive game cycle is already gone for quite long already, there is no way to revive the scene unless someone invest thousands of dollars in prizes and organization for teams to get interested and heat up the community outside 1911. TBH this last season suffered on too many delays and week offs (no matches next week, again) due to holidays on top of the recurring, season by season, lack of competitiveness. The anticheat coming was a fine improvement, alas too late
