It was also the season when you were too poor to pay for internet and our starting roster included some combination of Jizzake and Aero. We also used to have Hn from Sk.fr play in our matches and he was unreal. Better than almost every player even though he consistently had 200+ ping. I vaguely remember some team demanded that we a midwest server even though they were predominantly east coast just so that Hn's ping would be worse and he then absolutely destroyed them.
nik: As mentioned to Wardian, Sk.fr was indeed very good. When I was on -Nt-, we had Kiki was French but that team was carried by Hn and he was actually Belgian. If you called him French, he got pissed off. Worth mentioning that they did have a cheater named Iron but I don't think it ever was well known. We tried to start one of those super teams CS style with a Euro division and a US one IIRC, I think the tag was something like eSports.-nt- Windian [ktp]. Anyway Sk.fr had their own team as the Euro division and we scrimmed them on Anzio. I msged Hn after the match because I was 100% positive Iron cheated, never been so sure of anybody ever (well except Ward, but he was on my team and I supported him just because it was so fun disagreeing with ackpth). I literally proned all the way up the Allied spawn house side on bridge and he walled me the instant I got to the top. It was **** blatant. Hn was similarly adamant that Iron was just super good and he had also seen him play on lan (tm). Plus Hn was the best player in the world so wtf did I know. I think he got caught a few weeks later. He was actually decent on lan, but I apparently he was nervous about getting cut from the top Euro team or something so he cheated online to keep his spot.
nuBeas Umm, nope. Now I'm not saying you actually cheated (if that's why you got banned, I don't even remember), I wasn't sure at the time but I didn't care. I also may not have been a "top" player when you got banned, but I definitely played with them. Don't think anybody would say it was a mistake though. That spider video was priceless. If anybody finds it, send it to me! "**** ugs junior lu, ****' hate that spic."
