I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you.

If the rules are stupid then change the rules. No one ever goes into a court room and says this law is stupid. (Yes I'm quite aware this isn't a court room, but the same principal applies). If someone gathered evidence in a murder trial, even if it so blatantly showed the defendant to be guilty, if it was obtained illegally it can not be used.

In order for the rules to maintain their legitimacy they must be enforced. That is the only appropriate logical response. It's impossible to evaluate impartially what is a stupid rule and what isn't. Therefore the only way to protect everyone is for the rules to be clear and for the rules to be followed. If they are not followed there are consequences. The only acceptable exception to this is if the team who was rated against (or any other violation for that matter) decides to "drop the case"

If we aren't going to follow any rules we may as well just play 12 mans and not have a league. If that is the case I'll just go back to playing CS instead. I've always enjoyed the competition and structure of playing in a league, that is what is fun about it for me. I don't want that to go away.

See what Narc posted regarding the rules and how admins take each instance as a unique case.

I would say this is a great time to change the rules regarding rating. The fact that you can win by 100 points and have the match overturned for 7500 rate is crazy illogical.

The rules state what the **** happens if you rate, moron. Obviously the right to change rules would be reserved for a very complicated scenario? Why the **** would they just change a basic rule that has been in place forever? Oh wait, see entire thread.

Illegal rates:

Players may not go below the minimum approved values. Failure to do so will result in that player's team will be awarded 0 points per half;one player rating, first half 0 points, two players rating, first and second half 0 points and a minimum one game suspension.

TPG admins will review each case separately and determine what, if any, remedy is required for each situation.

Just because your dumbass, biased opinion doesn't see how there are extraneous variables regarding this matter doesn't mean the rest of us "illogical" folk don't. As we pay attention to said variables, we acknowledge that the TPG admin authority being used to propose/accept a rematch IS justified AND in accordance with the rules.

Brb ALL instances of rating are the same. There are never other factors that differentiate one case from another. Rating is rating. Judgment shouldn't be used when approaching cases.

Where's your logic now?

Overturning a match for 7500 rate is crazy illogical? Narc did it to us. No wonder we didn't let it slide? lolumad?

actually that was alittle different then this. your team + the other team both had a player that was rating so he gave you both a ff + it was regular season.

Overturning a match where you clearly would have lost regardless of the rating is illogical. And if Narc did it to you previously under the same ****, I would say that was illogical, too.

Furthermore, from what I've gathered in this thread, YOUR team [leader?] proposed a rematch. They accepted, you bitched your ass off, and now Narc is taking the FF loss.

Why would I be mad? The general consensus is you can't read for shit and you're bitching like a 12 year old girl. You're making yourself look like a damn moron.

And your alias is char. Nothing further.

Is this true? If so, big LOL at you leaving out those INCONSISTENT **** (I've mentioned this point multiple times now - no excuse for forgetting it) that completely defeat your entire point.

If you do that then everyone is going to start rating and running around with a thompson/unter, particularly when they're losing a match. Where do you draw the line? 30 points? 50? As I pointed out in a previous post all it takes is about 35 seconds for everyone to make a read only userconfig.cfg that automatically exec's with proper rates and ex_interp settings. If everyone did that this would never happen.
