Damn I wish I read this 10 years ago. Really cool thread hahah.
Green Elephant - If he didn't make Tour of Duty, I would have never found Day of Defeat.
I met Falx/Tom Harrington(some guy from FL) through that game. He recruited me to play DOD in that game when it started dying. Him and all of the people on High Precision helped me learn the game and let me scrim with them. Cory Price, Mogers, River Oyster, some Mexican guy who was hilarious, and a bunch of others. Can't even remember their names it was so long ago.
Eventually I joined Freshjive/FlatOut with Nugz and Joel/Mimmerzim and some CS guys ... coalminer? and I forgot who led the team. Stayed with that team for my entire "career" because this community was so toxic I had no desire to make friends. Cold turkey quit DOD when I went to college. But it was dead around then anyways.

Nugz, wiz, Mimmerzim, Q, arn, mogers, corey price, lots of people on high precision who gave me a chance to play the game.
Most of my playstyle centered around playing against players way better than me too soon into learning the game. Pretty much went for shooting people in the back and trying to ninja cap.

BlackHawk, you know I was your biggest influence, but you couldn't get on my level so you just had to go install those cheats. I'm not mad just disappointed.
