Re: What are you listening to right MEOW?
maybe im biased because theyre from austin. and theyre not a band that fits very well at a big music festival like lollapalooza or austin city limits. they sound amazing at small venues, pretty sure they got famous during south by southwest. anyways there are very few bands that have amazing songs all the way through their album, from start to finish. spoon is one of those.alex kirk wrote:I could never get into Spoon, Swiss. Saw them at Lollapalooza, met one of the brass players (ujelly?), but...just can't do it. Dunnolol.jpg

I will repeat the question that you conveniently ignored: r u jelly I met one of the brass players? A simple yes or no will suffice.Swiss wrote:maybe im biased because theyre from austin. and theyre not a band that fits very well at a big music festival like lollapalooza or austin city limits. they sound amazing at small venues, pretty sure they got famous during south by southwest. anyways there are very few bands that have amazing songs all the way through their album, from start to finish. spoon is one of those.
notsrs
Song makes me laugh. Just because the guy's voice is so **** odd, and the content of this song is very spiteful given it being about divorce. The sound of his voice is kind of contradictory to the meaning of the song.
Jarrod should love the lyrics of this song.

I love the mountain goats.
saw john outside @ vermont and brought him a six pack of PBR tall-boys, and some whiskey. we shotgunned a pbr together (at his insistence) and then took a shot. Craziest meth survivor I will ever get a chance to know!
edit - inb4 coolstorybro?

Dubstep is awful.
Anthrax's new album is not.
