1) It isn't grammar, it's spelling and meaning. 2) The defense of "who gives a shit I'm not writing for a class" is not a very good argument because, as previously stated, it doesn't require much intelligence to distinguish the difference between words. The fact that you have to put yourself in a state of elevated cognizance to decipher the difference between the similar words makes you stupid, not just the fact that you consistently use them incorrectly.
