Why the change to 15 minute halves?

A) Playing with ways to make it a more fast paced league.
B) Since we only have 1 division, the skill gap between SOME teams and other teams is ridiculously huge. It is not fun to sit there and get absolutely destroyed that bad. Especially when a team will just stop capping, and start spawn camping.
C) Throwback to the original TPG2 that was 15 minute halves.

A) Hopefully it will actually make it fast paced. I never felt like the 12 minute halves for 3v3 made it any more fastpaced, just the small maps. But if it works, that'd be cool.
B) I suppose that is reasonable. It will just make the matches that are extremely close a little disappointing that they are 10 minutes shorter. Though I guess it will also make it more intense because you have less time to catch up/keep your lead.
C) It feels so long since then, I don't even remember that, haha.

Season 2 of TPG on Wednesday nights will begin on Wednesday, Novermber 7th. There is NO preseason, week 1 schedules will be out later this week, so please finalize your rosters now! Below you will find links to the configs and maps. Please make sure all configs are updated as there have been some changes to the configs. Each half is now 15 minutes, and MGs have been removed. It would be best to look at the config names, because they are labeled with tpg2_mapname.cfg instead of just tpg_mapname.cfg.

How many teams played the classic one last season?

It started with 10, worked its way up to 12, and finished with 8.
