after having played a couple matches with you where I had 150+ ping and seeing you against these "euro invite teams" making them look awful while you ran around aimlessly and they missed you over and over again, i can say with a very high level of certainty that if YOU are euro invite, then anyone on our tpg invite roster is EURO INVITE level too. and that isn't even taking into consideration your horrendous sportsmanship and 12 year old maturity level in ventrilo while playing. you annoy even the people who are considered your "e-friends" like the aforementioned anonymous players hahahaha that post by you was one of the funnier things I've ever seen on this website. you're the only european left anymore with that delusional ego about where the skill level stands while all the european players that matter like paul wallu jaunty ptk etc all understand that the best of NA and the best of Europe are all completely on par with one another and can easily trade off wins depending on maps, lineups, who's having a good or bad day, etc. (as jared mentioned, we played vs renamed in a euro night cup about a month ago, won axis half of rr2 by 100 then i went afk for the entire allied half and came back to find out we had won that half by 75 while playing with 5 players) god i can't wait to play whatever team you're on. I left my regular euro roster that i was on just to have some fun with this season so i can personally see to it that our roster makes you eat those words with a hefty dose of waaaaaahmburger and french cries, nerd ^_-

The rule hasn't changed. 2 NA's top playing each game. Merc's are allowed if the opponent is fine with it, but you still need to be within the 2/4 player rule.
If any clans want to play other international clans I'm sure defiance welcomes you to play outside TPG Euro aswell.
Whenever I find the time I'll go around asking people what they think about the rule, and if I see there's a big margin of players wanting more americans, I'll change it of course.

calli, you think i've played dod for 12 years without facing any brazilians? yeh, they lag their tits off, and its annoying but you can still beat them because it's way worse for them. can't see many of them making it into euro invite so i'm not bothered anyway

the 2 NA rule is stupid because someone with 100-150 ping doesn't really 'warp'. warping depends more on the isp. i've had zero problems regging on any americans, and certainly I reg better on them than french people.

besides, there's like, 3 teams at the moment who can give us a good game? if you allowed americans to enter with whatever team they want, that would hopefully go up to 6 or so. forcing them to play with 2 only cripples their teamplay and ability to find a team. I heard NZ were thinking of leaving the league and that would be a shame

your point about playing outside of tpg euro is irrelevant anyway, we're discussing the rule in the euro league, and i'm not interested until staying up until 3am to play dod. embarking on tpg has been good for the euro community, but i don't see why one guy has the power to invent a rule like this.
