I'll join in on the circle jerk....
Bleargh dumped on me incredibly hard in a Dust pub once.... First time I ever got really angry at this video game because no matter what I did he'd just put me in the dumpster. He was probably the first guy that made me look at my own play and improve it to play a bit more competitively.
Miller because he dumped on me so hard in my very first IGL match on Aleutian.
Analog and AO were usually nice enough carry me in 12 mans and just were humble guys that played well.
I've never been a big demo/movie watcher but Bewton was always someone I liked to watch. Smart player and a nice guy. I remember one time I was talking to a pubber in vent and he was like "Dude you should go watch this Bewton guy play, he's the best rifle in the game!" hahahah
Oh yeah and Watchyourback for his nades that WITHOUT FAIL always explode in your face no matter what your current location is relative to him.
Not the best players ever but I think they were the only few decent players to tolerate how bad I was/am lol
AND OF COURSE NICKEL "BIG DICK" 18!!!!!!!!!!

Whoever mentioned ackpth:
Despite having decent aim, the kid cried SO MUCH that it made it intolerable to play with him. We ended up having to kick either him or jeff spry (scrd), and we chose jeff only because he wasn't as good (they both cried a ridiculous amount). Oh, and the first match I played against team UH on anzio, teamlol destroyed them, and ackpth made a video in an attempt to get me banned. Ironically, 2 years later, he was on my team at CPL.

So many good players alot of you don't even remember. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned MaX or Spartan for heavies. I really looked up too these guys when I started playing. Max took me under his wing and brought me on to my first competitive dod team in lgn ran by DarkRabbi. I actually lanned with Spartan almost every match we played and it help me learn my way around. Indigo was another who taught me alot about sniping even thought he dotted his screen back in the day. Also Tenchi from devil, im sure jaz knows him well but he was the first person to bring me into the dod community when I joined devil back in 2.0. The reason I list these older people because well im old school and they are the ones who really shaped the game. I could go on and on listing old schoolers but I always find these threads kinda pointless and more of a ego rub for you newer guys.
