Not sure we watched the same match then DinG coz at that point Brazil already had tied the score and was playing better than Croatia. Let alone the fact that the penalty came when Brazil was pressing for the 2nd goal. The bit you talked about wasn't even argued by Croatia...

Anyone going to watch Uruguay v Costa Rica?

Uruguay (Possible, 4-4-2): Muslera; Pereira, Lugano, Godin, Caceres; Rios, Lodeiro, Stuani, Rodriguez; Forlan, Cavani.
Test: Suárez (knee).
Costa Rica (Possible, 5-4-1): Navas; Gamboa, Umana, Gonzalez, Acosta, Diaz; Bolanos, Borges, Tejeda; Campbell, Ruiz.

I hope Suárez will be able to play today, even without him they have put up a strong line up. Strong defense, Diego Godin have been a key player for Atletico Madrid last season and Maxi Pereira will be offensive on this rightside.
I had like to see Gastón Ramirez to start instead for Christian Stuani.
I'm not that familar with Costa Rica's squad, beside Celso Borges who play for the Swedish club AIK, Bryan Ruiz, Fulham and Joel Campbell, Arsenal FC.

Cass, i dunno what ur banging on about bro cos croatia were just as good as brazil if not better for most of the game, neymar was lucky to be still on the pitch after that cynical elbow, croatia had a fair goal disallowed and a dodgy pen conceded! the croat wingers looked dangerous all game and their defence looked solid with the exception of a bad goalie who cost them. dunno what match u were watching m8 but u defo had brazil-tinted glasses on :D

I'm gonna watch a bit of uruguay vs costa rica to scope out the opposition ;)

I'm not banging anything An1 I just begged to differ in about almost everything DinG said lol. I follow football throughout the calendar and it just lame seeing people who seems to watch football once in a while or when it's WC bashing or complaining about the match. Not saying that to you directly as England passion for football is as great as ours, that's why I am not even quoting a specific post. IMHO Croatia was superior the first 20 minutes of 1st half and after that the dominance alternated till the end. I'd say that a tie would've been more fair as the penalty was clearly dubius (I am sure we haven't seen other occasions like that right?! ehhh) but it's pointless to discuss. I'm not into Brazil's bandwagon locally I just hate seeing unilateral ignorance, be it based under media or not. I got your opinion since your first post so let's just agree to disagree, there are plenty of interesting matches going forward ie Costa Rica beating Uruguay for 3-1 lulz

I hope that was not aimed at me, someone that actually attends about 50 matches a season and has had a season ticket at Rangers since I was 4 years old, not to mention the fact that I watch nearly any game of football on the tv...

It is fine having a differing opinion, loads of people do in football. I just think you will find most of the world thought that Croatia were robbed that night if you ask anyone not from Brazil or read any actual reports on the match.

On a sidenote, I just lost 100 quid on Uruguay, good times!
