trust me, i appreciate these things too. you'd know if you've seen any of my movies. i'm all for clean editing, good quality, good syncing, and good fragssevEN wrote:ofcourse, it's a matter of opinion. but if you made i check list of the most important things in a movie, he would score at the top of everything except for maybe special effects, which once again is a matter of opinion. some people love them in movies, some people like it more simple. he went the approach in this movie, but had some here and there to spice it up. but as far as the quality, colors, frags, visual/audio sync, flow of the movie.. they're all very top notch imo. maybe i am one of the only people that appreciates when a clip is well sync'd with the song and flows well, which gives it an "epic" type of feel or a buildup and climax going with the music. that takes a lot of thought and effort, not just laying out a bunch of clips on a timeline and dragging a song under it. but thats just me. i can notice and appreciate all of these types of thingsbobson wrote:while i agree that corey is one of the best movie makers still around, this movie wasn't anything special. the editing was simple but complemented the frags well (which carried the movie). gj though, nevertheless. i love me an entertaining dod movie here and theresevEN wrote:really really annoyed i deleted my countless seasons of jetty demos... i could have had so many clips in this. DOD WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD, I HAD NO USE FOR THEM WTF
anyways, finally got around to downloading it and it was incredible, as expected. of course, judging your favorite or "best ever" movies is pure opinion, but imo there has never been a better movie maker than corey is right now at this point in time. if you took every single movie maker to ever make a dod movie, and critiqued their absolute best work, corey wins.
and im surprised to only get fragged once in it.
i'm excited to see what you'll do with the greatest hits!
