Have you tried Isopure?tugger wrote:what kind of Whey Protein is the best?
I tried Strawberry banana and banana cream... and lets say that while strawberry banana was decent, banana cream was disgusting! Anyone familiar with all the flavor?

Run a few steps normally and watch what strikes first - heel or midfoot. I'll bet your heel strikes first.kirk wrote:Start barefoot running.defiance wrote:Dearest workout Bros,

Yup, and zero carb...Jstampz wrote:Isopure has amazing flavors
Or if you want good quality protein and don't mind paying a premium you can sample some of the Progenex stuff, too. Again, not cheap, but I like it a lot.

You need to get out more. Stuff tastes like dirt. Except worse.Jstampz wrote:Isopure has amazing flavors
Your definition of "normal" doesn't exist because there is no "running style vacuum." What is "normal" to you is highly abnormal to other cultures/people and vice versa. Striking on the heel first is normal because that's how we were trained, but that does not mean that is the best form for distance running. The physics of barefoot running is pretty damn clear.mofo wrote:Run a few steps normally and watch what strikes first - heel or midfoot. I'll bet your heel strikes first.
If you are doing short distances and aiming for sub-6 minute miles, then that might be a different story.
Jakes on you. Carbs are delicious.mofo wrote:Yup, and zero carb...Jstampz wrote:Isopure has amazing flavors

I actually use Isopure because I can fit 50g protein in a drink without wanting to vomit. What's your whey of choice?kirk wrote:Isopure sales rep detected.mofo wrote:Have you tried Isopure?tugger wrote:what kind of Whey Protein is the best?

I don't drink any dairy protein anymore because my stomach becomes less of a fan with each coming year. If I'm being strict on calorie:protein ratio (~120 calories for ~24g protein), then TruNutrition is the best, followed by Dymatize Elite.scorch- wrote:I actually use Isopure because I can fit 50g protein in a drink without wanting to vomit. If the calorie:protein ratio is not a big deal, then XF UP 2.0 protein is the greatest protein shake you could ever get. The macro profile isn't as great if you're cutting and need higher protein (~180 calories, 18g protein), but goodness the taste makes up for it.
I've tried most of the popular brands in protein. I've read all sorts of reviews from people raving about how excellent they are and how they don't even taste like powdered protein. I'm here to tell you that those people are lying and almost every protein powder I've ever had is subpar at best, none really come close to "tasting good." I'm amazed that people here like Isopure since that is literally at the bottom of my list.
Until I had XF UP 2.0 Lemon Cream...TruNutrition Cinnamon Bun takes second place.
