So are you saying the parent/parents are at fault? She did jump to many different schools which I'm sure parents must of helped with. As I jump back to my earlier point, the internet is what she seemed to always go back to. Its also what aided her problems in following her. So then it must be the parents fault.Mitz wrote:^This^moosh wrote:Seems like the parenting experts in here don't have kids.
This story is sad. It's also disheartening to see some of you justifying the actions against her simply because she made a mistake. Should we harass each person who makes a mistake until he kills himself?
What I take from this story is to make sure that we stay connected to our kids and their lives. Be involved and be aware. Monitor their time online, have their passwords, and keep tabs on what's going on. Her parents should have been keeping an eye on these things for her, and pulled the plug when stuff was getting out of hand. Like Kirk said, kids just don't have the capacity to deal with this kind of thing.
Depends on how shitty of a parent we're talking about.moosh wrote:I'm just commenting on how its easy for one to objectively say how people are supposed to be parenting when it's not their child. It's a whole new game when you have a child.
THAT SHIT IS SO FUNNYRambizzle wrote:my bad.
I'll leave it at this:moosh wrote:True. Let's just take average parent at the mall who's kid is going **** nuts. I remember judging them instantly on how I would never let that happen. Now that I have a little hellion....I'm eating my judgments.
I agree with you on spanking. Shit doesn't work and the first time I ever thought about doing it I took a step back (and ended getting punked by my daughter).
And now I have no idea what we were talking about. **** 1911 on a phone.
