Norton removed the installer as a threat, so I didn't use it. Not sure how one might offer to fix that, aside from asking me to ignore my antivirus stuff, which I won't do.

Edit: Didn't mean to air the issue in public, because I'm a big fan of you TPG people, but I'm lazy, and this way was easy. It controls me.

Messed around with this, not a single lag spike/fps drop/freeze up.

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II Dual-Core M320 (2 CPUs), ~2.1GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3838MB RAM
Page File: 1903MB used, 5771MB available

No idea what is causing the problems for others.

Only one person had problem with it on my team. It's a okay ac but seems like it's causing more trouble than helping.

Worked like a charm for me.

But one player in my team had some major problems. The game crashed for him every now and then. Guess he had to restart dod around 6-7 times during 40 min.

I hadn't had a problem with cleandod until yesterday night before our game, starting the report somehow crashed dod twice as it was loading up BUT a restart solved it and it worked perfectly again after. I am pretty sure that was something conflicting on my end though and not cleandod, pretty happy with how it all works tbh and nobody else on my team mentioned having any problems.

Same thing happened to me. I created an exception to allow the program to run, but I do feel a bit uncomfortable about using it.

ran fine the first time i used it in a pub. using cleandod last night proved otherwise. game did feel just a tad sluggish and 3 separate times i had flushentitypacket errors which completely froze my game for 1-3mins. I havent had that error since 4 years ago when i played on wireless. I was 3 hours away from the game server location, no choke no loss and I changed my rates around to see if that helped....and no it didnt.

not trying to bitch, i understand the point of cleandod just not sure about it.

I used to play DoD with a K6-2 and a Voodoo3 16mb and got 40-50fps. Let's go, let's keep lying.
Lol, why would people be lying about having issues with this program? Also, when you played on that setup, were you running CleanDoD? Because that's kind of what we're talking about here.

But we're probably all just scheming because we hate the idea of having an AC client. The cheaters are everywhere and they're out to get you, and no one has CleanDoD issues.
