So I was aim-botting and using ESP across the bridge on saints while TKing players in our own tower.

So are you mad that you got banned or that you got caught ? Let me guess to you turn them off for leagues and toggle them back on and go beat up on some pubbers? The only ones playing victims are the server admins who ban players for cheating. You all play dod online with other people who blow at the game and when someone knows how to play and doesn't miss easy shots, they're a "hacker". There have been a ton of LAN tournaments where people have shown just how good you can be at the game, and instead of appreciating how good those people are, you look for ways to tear them down. Good for you.

Do I know whether CharlieGiteau cheats at DoD? No. But nearly everyone here has been the victim of "cheating" accusations while trying to enjoy the game in public servers. It's not because everyone who has played the game seriously and practiced and improved over the course of years of playing is cheating in pubs.

p.s. he was being sarcastic about cheating. clearly if he was cheating he would have known those were teammates before he accidentally tk'd them.

the majority of people you are accusing of hacking have been playing this game since it was released or shortly thereafter. have been to LANs and done well. they have been playing in leagues since 2002/3 or earlier and in other games(quake, CS, tribes, etc). you spend the time to get good at a game for a few years, you tend to retain the basic skills.

you think these guys hack now? shoulda seen em back in the day when they were good. its not a thing you can "tone down" or not do. its reaction. its not something anyone whos played in leagues for a few seasons can usually stop doing without just pressing w and looking away from the monitor.

the only one whos mad is you - for being so **** awful at an 11 year old game you ban people for being better than you. people who spent honest time and effort to get good at this game. people who have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars to go to a LAN across the country just to play with friends they met online in an offline tournament to prove how good they really are.
