So I was aim-botting and using ESP across the bridge on saints while TKing players in our own tower.

So are you mad that you got banned or that you got caught ? Let me guess to you turn them off for leagues and toggle them back on and go beat up on some pubbers? Show them your mad CAL skills and then complain that you were wrongfully banned? I find it odd that everyone is so up in arms about this whole ordeal, you guys got banned from a pub server on a game that's on its last breaths.

Get over it. It's easy to come on here and go, "I was banned for nothing!" when in reality you either were acting like a jackass or caught with your hand in the hacker jar. Or maybe you found out the hard way that some admins just don't put up with your shit.

Remember guys it's easy to play the victim.

The only ones playing victims are the server admins who ban players for cheating. You all play dod online with other people who blow at the game and when someone knows how to play and doesn't miss easy shots, they're a "hacker". There have been a ton of LAN tournaments where people have shown just how good you can be at the game, and instead of appreciating how good those people are, you look for ways to tear them down. Good for you.

Do I know whether CharlieGiteau cheats at DoD? No. But nearly everyone here has been the victim of "cheating" accusations while trying to enjoy the game in public servers. It's not because everyone who has played the game seriously and practiced and improved over the course of years of playing is cheating in pubs.

p.s. he was being sarcastic about cheating. clearly if he was cheating he would have known those were teammates before he accidentally tk'd them.

Do people get banned that don't deserve it ? Sure. I've been banned numerous times on various games for no reason. Do I get my panties in a wad not at all. I just move on and go to the next server. Have I been on the other side of the ban key ? I sure have. It's not black and white in fact its just pretty much grey. If your a pub and you consistently have an individual with legit skills that consistantly empties your server ? You've told them to tone it down numerous time or take it elsewhere. Do you ban them for being good or not listening ? Or say that you and several other team mates spectate and come to the conclusion that they are hacking and subsequently gets banned. They come and say "I wasn't hacking." who are you going to trust ? Your clan or some random talking head ? I've never had one person say "Yes I was banned and I should have been." I'm nearly ten years of playing. It's always the same story you got banned for no reason.

You know the funniest part about this, and i dont know if im the only one that does it, but when im told to calm it down or stop hacking i offer to teach you guys tricks of the game. Maybe some nades or spam spots you might not know about. Perhaps teach you the difference in noise between behind wall a or wall b. Usually i get "no i know all of it, ive been playing since the game came out". Its pretty obvious you dont know, or you wouldnt be banning those who are better than you.

Next time when someone offers to give you some tips, outside of "teach me recoil" because frankly that cant be taught, you have to learn that with lots of practice. Though there are some tricks to control, most of it is just how you pull the mouse down. Take the chance to possibly learn something about this game from people who spent time to learn the quirks of dod.

I was seriously shaking my head when I went into their forums. Wish our {GSR} server was still going strong. You know I was keeping alot of you guys from getting banned there back in the day.
Actually **** it you know what KHH dude's I used to admin {GSR} Servers. I remember a time when I once thought all these muther f*ckers in here cheated. Until a few of us in {GSR} were invited to do a scrim (actually I take that back... first scrim I was in I remember raging so hard thinking everyone from the other team was cheating). They weren't of course. It took a bit, but I got better and have even played in the upper leagues without installing a single cheat ever. It just might be possible that people do actually check every corner, every window, every crater. I'm just saying give a ban some thought next time. I mean Ive never cheated and I'll go 20-0, 40-5 etc..and i'm not even one of the best in this community. **** we want to welcome new comers to this place, this game is so old and the community is the only thing that can keep it going. I don't even know if i have played in your server, just try to work with us instead of against us. At the end of the day it is your server and you can choose how you want to run it, I just hope you make the right choice.

Okay your a garand/k98 guy use something auto call back and let the pubbers have some fun. You don't always need to run up your k/d ratio offer advice and be helpful. Do this and you'll normally be welcomed. Kill everyone, camp spawn, don't explain how you knew someone was hiding in that dark corner and generally act like the people in this thread. Don't be suprised when your banned from pub servers. You begin to run people off who play for fun not for competition.

Your definition of "hacking" is, clearly, our definition of "being better than you". You use your standard of good to judge the skill levels of others when your standard is being completely and utterly shitty at a game at which you've apparently had 10 years to improve.

It's not about trusting someone. He offered you his demo, which I'm sure your collective ignorance will still determine to contain cheats, but it's generally a way of clearing your own name in this community.

... people banned for actually cheating generally don't give enough of a **** to register on your god-forsaken forums and create a thread to tell you, "Hey, I was cheating! Thanks for banning me!"

No one goes into your pub with an attitude. As far as I know, we go into a pub with friends and don't say anything to anyone. Someone usually calls you out for cheating or just bans your right off the bat and that starts the cycle. It's infuriating because we know you're retarded, but don't get the opportunity to show you just how retarded.

You seem to take great offense when we say we're just plain better than you at this game. It's not about elitism, it's about fact. We are better than you at this game and we are much more knowledgeable. You want us to play like idiots when that's not fun for any of us. Explain how we knew people were hiding? Pubs are generally filled with idiots who hide in corners. It's pretty common to just check corners. We join pubs to play for fun. If we wanted to be competitive, we'd be playing amongst ourselves.

These **** have zero reading comprehension. I was never warned or asked to tone it down you mongoloid. My ban was actually a combo of VISITORS and that dumb blonde Heidi. The VISITORS watched me as they were dead, in 10 second intervals mind you, and deemed I was cheating.

For the sake of humanity I hope sharky is trolling. Even if someone is rolling in a pub, the server doesn't empty out. About 4 of the 40+ yr old dudes go in spec, cry about hacks, and leave.
