I am not sure if this has been posted yet, I'm very late on receiving this information - almost 2 years late to be exact. This unfortunate story was given to me by a good friend, and ex-teammate, sh|ftynou.
Jason "spG" Bednarz passed unexpectedly in his sleep on Feb. 28th 2010. Jason was part of the RBC [strike]team[/strike] family back in the early 2000's. I knew him just briefly compared to the rest of the RBC guys like shifty, bewton, rogueverve, eckman, dante, etc. For the brief time I had got to know him, he was always very welcoming, and fun to be around. I am just happy to have had the privilege of knowing Jason, albeit short, and I'm sure anyone that has encountered him in DoD or real life never had anything bad to say about the guy. He will be missed.
A great article about his life and who he was:
