Objective map or 8v8 tourney?

Since 3v3 and draft have been done over and over recently, was curious if other people think it would be cool to have a short objective map tournament, or an 8v8 tournament (have to find a 16+ slot server though), so we could play some maps that don't get a lot of attention.
8v8 maps could be: zalec, zafod, caen, escape, jagd, switch, flugplatz, vicenza
objective maps: glider, kraftstoff, escape, jagd, zalec.
It could be combined, since a lot of objective maps are huge, so an 8v8 objective map tourney.
Dunno... was just sitting in class thinking about it. I think it'd be pretty cool.

id play the 8v8 but not so much the objective maps, only because the one team would camp for the 20 minutes and it wouldnt be that fun, just my opinion

Isn't there a way to make it CS style, round based?
And some maps can't be camped for a win, such as jagd. 8v8 jagd would be pretty fun I think.
I don't know of all the objective maps, but I believe that are more objective maps than jagd that require BOTH teams to complete an objective, not just one.

I would like to see some British maps used for something whether its pre-season or a tourney.

It is rather difficult finding even 6 to play... imagine the pain scheduling an 8v8 and getting 16 people to play lol... and there is the server issue as well. I don't see a way of doing that.
In the other hand I find the objective idea more entertaining since there are good maps out here (krafstoff is a very good example where allies need to defend oil drums and a truck where axis needs to "capture" them. Perhaps if we can find a way to shorten the time for capture we can have a good lil objective map tourney!
