What are you reading?

As nerdy as everyone is here there is a severe lack of reading going on. I know some of you read and I would love to have some book talks. So on that note lets start with what you are reading right now and/or what you just finished that was good.
If you don't read you really should pick up a book.
I'll start. Currently I'm reading book 2 of
The Demon Cycle and I must say it is a lot better than I thought it would be when I randomly picked up the first book.
If you are looking for a great series that rivals Game of Thrones and is a bit more accessible to jump into then I will recommend my favorite trilogy
The Night Angel Trilogy. I guarantee you halfway through the first book of it you will not put it down until the third book is done.

I've wanted to read that series for the longest time. I love Stephen King, but I just could not get into the first book. I was told the series is amazing, but the first book is kind of slow. Thoughts?
I just finished reading
Ender's Game (courtesy of Grant Frazer). Though I'm not sure if I'll continue with the other nine or so books in the series, that first book was amazing.
The two books I finished before that were
Oxygen and
The Fifth Man. The latter is the sequel. If you have any interest in space, I'd take a look at them. Some of it was a bit over-the-top (the author is a strong Christian and it is obvious at times), but it was easy to get through.
Alex Kirk controlled that one. It probably lasted ten posts before turning into a workout thread.

I would say the first book is a little slow, but it is WELL worth it. The entire series will grab you. I started right before the last book came out. I was so engrossed in the story that i read all of them in a month, leading up to the last one.
Also, as a bonus for you, this book coming out is set somewhere in the middle of the series, so you wont be stuck trying to figure out wtf is going on, like i will, since im 3 books ahead of it.

Wasn't there a thread like this no more than 2 or 3 months ago?
Whatever, just finished the hunger games, and i'm moving on to catching fire whenever my aunt is finished with it.
I was reading the girl with the dragon tattoo, but lost the book when I moved.
(I know, I'm so cool, i read books once the movies come out!) trololaway.
Also I'd recommend Kinky Friedman's "You can lead a politician to water, but you can't make him think"

Shadow of the hegemon! But you have to read ender's shadow first, which is still a really good book, and will transition nicely from ender's game.

Thinking about reading game of thrones soon because of the show, which I'm sure you'll just love defiance.
