Cheating outside of TPG
It has been brought to my attention, along with extra input and opinions from those around the community, that cheating in scrims and 12 mans is becoming more frequent these days. While being active in the community myself, I have to say I don't find it hard to believe. I have let this go under the radar for too long. People have even been so careless as to admit it within the TPG support tickets. This has got to stop, and the TPG admins will do what we can to prevent it as much as possible.
So from this point on, any evidence submitted to us which shows someone cheating in a server represented by any league config will be taken as evidence to suspend and/or ban from TPG. There has been handfuls of people who have come to us in recent weeks saying they have demos of someone cheating in a scrim, and up until this point we haven't extended our rules there. Now that is going change. As of 48 hours from this announcement, suspensions will start being issued out. During that time the TPG rules will be amended to reflect the new policy.

As it stands, this is the last word on this issue. We currently do not accept pub demos. That doesn't mean TPG promotes or condones cheating in pubs, but there are far too many variables that we cannot control or account for. We are not the DoD police and there are only so many demos that we can watch per week(time constraints/AC man power), so a line has to be drawn somewhere. At some point, the players in the community have to accept responsibility and behave in some sort of adult manner, which includes things like not cheating in pubs, or including cheaters in 12 mans, general trolling just to piss people off, etc.
Maybe one day we will extend our rules to pubs, maybe next season. I would love to ban the idiots that go into pubs to ruin other people's playing experience. Contact Pat if you want to be an AC
