Nineteen Eleven

Does anyone own a Creative XF-I or Titantium like I do? I am having trouble where that my sound is working, but that my microphone part of the driver not working. I used Driver sweeper, did not do a thing. Iv tried downloading the latest drivers, setting back the drivers to a previus point and natta thing. Almost contemplating on a Format, though I dont want to really loose alot of stuff. Anyone help?

Btw, my mic for whenever I plug in my jack for my Razer Headset says that its connected to the Line in part, when I have it connected to the microphone port. I am thinking next sound card I get, be a Turtle beach.

I had an issue on my previous system which caused my microphone to be played over the speakers all the time regardless of the settings. I uninstalled, ran driver sweeper in safe mode, went through the registry, all sorts of shit and still no dice.

I recently built another new system and moved my Titanium HD over to this build, and sure enough the issue was gone.

Creative drivers within the last few years have really sucked as and their support blows.

I had an issue with my sound card playing static when using the front input panel, and when creative decided to send me back my exact same card (had a mark on it in a specific place so I would know), I called back and bitched up a storm. They told me to send it back again and they will handle it properly. I asked them to send a prepaid label so I didn't have to shell out the shipping cost again. They refused and said it's not in their policy. Their "supervisor" held firm on that as well even though they didn't fix shit or send me a refurb card.

I ended up calling the store manager at the Fry's where I purchased the card for an insanely low price ($79) and he swapped it out for another one he had on his shelf. I already owned this card for 7 months too.

Moral of the story, get an ASUS Sound Card. Creative sucks balls.
